Orthodox Calendar

This is a perfect app. The saints, Bible readings, and troparia of the day all in one place, along with the fasting information of each day. It is not a distracting interface, but clear and easy to use. As a mom, sometimes it's easy to get on your phone for a good reason, and then stay on, doomscrolling. But this app makes it easy to open up for prayers and to check out the day ahead, and then close it down. No multiple scrolling options, or unnecessary links to other websites, or ads.

Easy to use with a good flow for your phone. Has both old calendar date with the new. Expands on the Lives of saints with an easy to access hyperlink. Not cumbersome to use. Very good choice considering what is available to us.

I am learning how to be a better Christian by learning who saints were, and I don't need a big heavy book! It's great for traveling. It's important to have good examples to follow. The Christian Saints faced such terrible trials for Christ. If they can conquer such trials with God's help, I can use God's help to solve my problems quite easily. My problems are not nearly as bad.
