About this app

This application is a very simple utility which allows you to explore each sensor available on an Android device. This is mainly intended to be an instructional and experimental application providing a basis for further development. This application displays both static and real-time information about each sensor available. Additionally it allows real-time logging of sensor data to a file stored on your device.

The only app that can read values from all the hardware sensors on both my OnePlus 5T and the 8T, even those that lack an API, RGB, back flicker sensor etc. Turns out the flash looking thingy on the back of the 8T is a combo 3 in 1 sensor, with a second ALS, RGB and Flicker sensing capabilities.

version 1.4 on Motorola Defy+ with Android 2.3 and Sony Xperia Active with Android 4.04. Simple, robust, clear. The logging does work but the user has to figure out where the log file is located (in mnt/sdcard/MySensors folder). The log file time is machine time, to be converted by the user in a readable format (using Excel or similar spreadsheet). The footprint is not small but reasonable: 5 MB storage and 9 MB memory usage. Free with no ads. Works even on old devices. Thanks to the developer.

Same problem as others report. On Sam.S5, any attempt to list or retrieve logs crashes prog. Also, no indication of where any logs would be stored. (Tested with Baro semsor).

What's new

==Version 1.4 (Version Code=7)==
* Supports Android SDK v4 thru v23
* Now supports logging (*.csv) of real-time sensor data to your device storage.
* Supports text file generation of all found sensor details.
* Option to delete all log files and browse logged files through an external file browser.
* App now requires write permissions to the device storage to support sensor logging. This was an unavoidable change to support this feature.
* As always, NO ads, still FREE!
