This has been a faithful powerful app for years . It needs some serious updating however. Most obviously the UI needs a refresh - it gives the impression that the app is no longer supported - it has many old references - how long has it been since there was "Android Market"? While functionally most everything works as good as it always has, the "Restore Android ID" no longer functions, due to changes that came with Oreo. It would be awesome if this piece was fixed.

If someone would revive and update this app, I'd give it 5 stars! It is a must if you are rooted and using Android 10 or under. If you are using Android 11 and up, restoring is likely to fail often. What good is a backup you cannot restore? I still use it and love it on my older device. But for my newest phone, Swift Backup has been much more reliable for actually restoring backups. I just uninstalled Titanium Backup on my new phone, and had to write this.

Appears to back up, appears to restore when I go through the motions to do so, doesn't anymore. 7.1.2 Update; same issue as a couple of years ago, latest version. This was most useful in transferring SMS messages from one phone to another, which was quite difficult, but Google's phone transfer tools simplify that and performs it in exponentially less time. I need this to return previous app versions when something goes wrong and it fails at that.
