Really bad! I'm disgruntled that I have to give it one star and not no stars! I was using the old version quite happily, then the news wasn't being updated anymore so I had to upgrade. You can't customise it really, you can't scroll through photos, and it's just a bad experience all round. Basically, I'm reiterating what the other unimpressed users are saying!

Awful. Was an amazing app and could be adjusted to suit the user. Now has no size adjustment, no carousel mode, literally no settings. The algorithm shows me news that I am not interested in, not it my area. And despite the new app now having swiping, it actually doesn't. Constantly failing to listen to users. Just revert back to 6.4 and give that a slight refresh rather than this utter car crash of unusability. Forcing me to update as pages are no longer showing current stories. Rude.

PLEASE can we have rotatable videos when in FULL SCREEN? It's pointless having a button that just gets rid of surrounding text from the main article whilst leaving the video STILL in PORTRAIT mode in the middle of the screen, size unchanged. BBC NEWS isn't the only app that seems to have forgotten to implement rotation of videos to proper LANDSCAPE in recent years, so, you're not alone. Is video rotation only available for tablets & not Phones, perhaps? Please add feature for phones. Thanks.
