If you've never worked with an Android device before, this guide will be extremely helpful in getting you started with the basic features and functions. It does not, however, document every detail of operating the phone or explain every possible setting and icon. This seems to be a common trend with new devices (if you're lucky to get any documentation at all), and one I can understand given the near-limitless possibilities of new mobile devices, but Android's growing emphasis on unlabeled icons sure would be an easier pill to swallow if their meanings were documented somewhere.

I am not new to android phones, but this is a giant step up from my last one (mytouch). This phone has so many features I didn't know about. It took me maybe 30 minutes to skim through and play with the features. Overall, it was really helpful. There were some things that I would not have figured out on my own, or even known existed (like the google now cards).

The Nexus 4 guidebook is an easy read, explanations on how to use the phone and apps are simple to follow however, nothing is mentioned on how to transfer pictures from the photo gallery onto the computer. I have used the USB lead and this still does not transfer the pictures over? Not sure how else to do this so went to refer to the guidebook but no instructions for this are noted. Great phone though!
