This is titled "The Absolute Basics". Got all the way to page 5 before it went off the rails. "Now we need to check to make sure it has been installed correctly. To do so, open the Terminal app, and type ‘python’, followed by pressing the tab key twice." Terminal app? What terminal app? What does that even mean? Mr. Corbett has done what 99.8% of all technical authors do - write instructions that FAIL to take into account all the experience they have with the product. He obviously knows what a terminal app is but he apparently is incapable of writing from the point of view of someone who has never heard the term, cannot find it in the Python interface that he has downloaded and installed, an thus finds themselves five minutes into their' attempt to learn - at a deadend. OH, and I did open both the GUI and the command window and try typing "python" followed by two tabs.......... and got nothing.

This book looks as if it could be useful but I have tried it on two Nexus 7 tablets and a phone and in each case it displays a landscape (wide) layout on a portrait screen, which doesn't word wrap. If you rotate the screen to landscape it then shows two landscape images side by side, still unreadable. Get that sorted and then it may be worth looking at. Interestingly the advert states that zoom may be needed to read on small screens. This doesn't help because when you zoom you lose each end of the lines.

In no way is this book any more helpful than pretty much any online 'getting started in Python' tutorial. This book is more like a tour guide passing by and saying; "on your right you can see Python, a great language, that, once installed can do great things... like store variables.... and moving on"
