About this ebook

*Pre-order Matt Haig’s new novel The Life Impossible now* THERE'S NO PLANET LIKE HOME After an 'incident' one wet Friday night where he was found walking naked through the streets of Cambridge, Professor Andrew Martin is not feeling quite himself. Food sickens him. Clothes confound him. Even his loving wife and teenage son are repulsive to him. He feels lost amongst an alien species and hates everyone on the planet. Everyone, that is, except Newton, (and he's a dog). Who is he really? And what could make someone change their mind about the human race?

This book is really an insight into human behaviour from a nameless outsiders viewpoint and how we obsess over the trivial things that do not matter and also how misunderstood we can be. A cleverly written book that educates and opens you're mind without patronising the reader. It's quite funny too.

Why till now we still can't find alien? Well, maybe they already become one of us and they don't reveal themselves.

Being someone who loves classics, I would rarely give 5 stars to anything less of it, but this has a great balance of everything. It made me think, it made me laugh, it made me wonder. It's the second book I've read from this author and I am pleasantly surprised that all my expectations were met. Matt has a great way of making the reader think outside the box, and yet write stories that are relatable on a deeper level. I have recommended to my friends and I will definitely continue doing so
