About this ebook

William Gibson continues the visionary Sprawl Trilogy that began with Neuromancer in this frighteningly probable parable of the future.

A corporate mercenary wakes in a reconstructed body, a beautiful woman by his side. Then Hosaka Corporation reactivates him, for a mission more dangerous than the one he’s recovering from: to get a defecting chief of R&D—and the biochip he’s perfected—out intact. But this proves to be of supreme interest to certain other parties—some of whom aren’t remotely human....

so difficult to get into a character and chapter when the author insists on a new scene and character every chapter. never learn anything about what happened to a character because I forgot what happened four chapters ago and now you've finally tried to reintroduce a scene.

The man who invented cyberspace does it again with a beautifully imagined world that will be here beforre we know it, but still seems impossibly far away. Very highly reccommended.

Count Zero is the second Volume of the Sprawl Trilogy Series (a wordplay on the computer programming term 'count-zero interrupt, ' receiving an interrupt); absolutely a must read for any inquiring mind who's looking for science fiction that really makes you think about it.
