About this ebook

A stunning novel about the transformative power of love, perfect for fans of 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher.

Sixteen-year-old physics nerd Aysel is obsessed with plotting her own death. With a mother who can barely look at her without wincing, classmates who whisper behind her back, and a father whose violent crime rocked her small town, Aysel is ready to turn her potential energy into nothingness.

There’s only one problem: she’s not sure she has the courage to do it alone. But once she discovers a website with a section called Suicide Partners, Aysel’s convinced she’s found her solution—Roman, a teenage boy who’s haunted by a family tragedy, is looking for a partner.

Even though Aysel and Roman have nothing in common, they slowly start to fill in each other’s broken lives. But as their suicide pact becomes more concrete, Aysel begins to question whether she really wants to go through with it. Ultimately, she must choose between wanting to die or trying to convince Roman to live so they can discover the potential of their energy together.

an amazing experience that allowed me to understand my beautiful daughter's black hole. it reminded me and my si milar past - except in my time discussing such event was too taboo to mention without judgement or stereotype. Now as a grown man with children of my own, I empathize we can all be tormented without others knowing, and we can all be heroes to our own rescuing; because sometimes it's okay to be our own hero. Self Care, Self Love, Self Worth. ITS NOT SELFISH but full of LIFE.

I could not put this book down, I read it in two sittings. This story does a great job of putting depression into words. Yet it gives the reader hope, i'm sure most of us have felt like we have had a black hole in our hearts or in our souls at some point in our lives but that doesn't mean it all needs to end. I highly recommend reading this book.

im glad a lot of readers also cant put down this book once theyve started to read it. literally read this book for less than 48hrs and i really liked th flow. its very relateable and the author has done a good job expressing and describing depression in words. sometimes, its harder to describe sadness than joy in words so kudos to the author for rlly illustrating what depression feels like generally (but ik we all deal with it differently so ig some ppl might view it other ways, but for me its v relateble.) would highly recommend this book.
