I don't know how Leigh managed to laid out plots of the Crows but she did it and it was the most brilliant plans I've ever read well, next to the Ice Court plan. This sequel is not just filled with more adventures but also more feelings and deeper connections to each characters, my favorite one was chapter 24. I love how each chapters are told from the character's point of views. I never read such way of storytelling before but I love it. I only wish there were more adventures for the Crows. I'm loving each and everyone of them.

I will admit that I shed so many tears while reading this book. I will never EVER regret reading this. The hidden meanings and messages that lay within the pages are just-- I don't even have a word to express it. I wish I could type out all of my thoughts into this review. Unfortunately, I cannot. My mind is so scrambled because of this entire book. However, I can say that YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK.

I’m just gonna say it, this duology is SO much better than the entire Grishaverse series!!! It was great to see the barrel rats show the bosses that you can’t keep’em down. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The pacing was smooth and the story was action packed. There was great banter between the characters and I enjoyed watching their relationships grow and their bonds strengthen. The multicast POV’s were great. It helped individualize each character and each narrator did a phenomenal job with their character.
