This book is intensely good. It is a book that if you had all day you could just sit and read it from beginning to end in one sitting. I took an even stronger liking to the book when I realized her experience took place in Syracuse because I live just 30 minutes from there. This book is wonderful and I recommend it to everyone.

Love Alice Sebold's stories, this one is all too real, it is relevant to today's conversations and the #me too movement, coupled with being equally empowering and heartbreaking.

I read this book for entertainment , it was amazing. The detail made me feel like I was there. I cried , I read , and I loved . This book makes you realize how everyone has their own struggles but through them you can look forward and find a new you .

Alice Sebold is the author of three #1 bestselling books, including Lucky, and the novels The Lovely Bones and The Almost Moon. Her work has been translated into more than fifty languages and has appeared in The New York Times and The Guardian, among other publications. She is a member of the National Leadership Council for RAINN.org (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network). She lives in California.
