Did not add it myself cannot get rid of it. Do not know how to unpack my phone. The remote thieves control my everything. They dictate what I can do or see, amuse themselves with my demonstrations of frustration as they have taken control of all my devices and appointed themselves as admin and I am a no rights visitor on my property. They have deleted all traces of a lifetime of genealogy research, all pictures of my family are gone. On my emails and accounts, ie: Live has nude women as my faves

I have seen all the movies of the Three Musketeers. I have enjoyed them all . I had assumed that many of the things depicted in the movies were from the book. I can see where the studios have taken a rather liberal poetic license. Thus I was a bit surprised by the end of the book . But I enjoyed it immensely. There were some technical issues in the optical character recognition. These issues did detract from the readability of the text . Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4.

Minor OCR glitches aside, this is a fascinating historical novel. You will need to look up a few French and Latin phrases, and you may also need to cross reference some European history, but since we have the Internet, this is easily done. Manners and morals may change; less so politics and human nature, which is why this is still relevant and worth the effort of reading and really comprehending. Put in a little effort and you will appreciate this work.

About the author

French author extraordinaire Alexandre Dumas made his mark on European literature with his stories of dashing adventurers, most notably The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo. Starting out as a well-received playwright, Dumas found even greater success with his novels, which often featured fictional tales of real-life Gallic notables. Since his death in 1870, the works of Dumas have been adapted hundreds of times, particularly in countless cinematic incarnations.
