All of the press and hype around this book led to my disappointment. It's average. I kept reading, hoping to fall in love and it never happened. The stark, plain quality of the writing didn't appeal to me, and there were missing elements--the twin relationship is never fully explained. The final chapters rushed to a conclusion.

The writing wss very good. But I find it hard to get excited over pedophelia.

I think this book is good for those who thirst for a little romance. It was well written but yet not.

About the author
Anton DiSclafani grew up in northern Florida, where she rode horses, competing nationally. She graduated from Emory University, and received her MFA from Washington University. She currently lives in Saint Louis, where she teaches creative writing at Washington University.
