About this ebook

A tender addition to the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin and upcoming books.

Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve.

Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated-scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.
Bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin with the later books in the series, A Court of Frost and Starlight explores the far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends.

I am still struggling to finish it and it is only about 300 pages. It is bland and boring and the characters that I fell in love with throughout this series are flat and there isn't really much story. There is no humor and no passion. I am so disappointed. I rarely leave poor reviews but this deserves it. Next time, Mr. Maas, write something with depth. Your did it 3x in this series. So I know you can do it well. Please go back to that.

SPOILER ALERT Okay, while I love this series nothing happened in this book. It ended with nothing happening. It had some character development sort of... No real history.. Loads of unanswered questions, it's almost like the author had a book date so she wrote about the characters without any plot. So she opened a paint School.. Really?? While that's great and all, it's pretty much all that happened in this book. It's not that I didn't like it -because I enjoy the characters- the book & the world she's made..but as a stand-alone novel... That did not really continue the story..I was really quite disappointed.

With much needed relief after the heaviness of ACOWAR, I thoroughly enjoyed continuing the story of Feyre and Rhysand, along with the rest of the house, as they venture into life after winning a war. Not easy, as the after effects are witnessed all around. The city is rebuilding and many families were torn apart. It's a beautiful story about community coming together and still celebrating and falling back on tradition.
