I've read all the previous books in this series, but for some reason I had a really hard time getting through this one. Kinda slow moving I suppose.... guess the main problem was there just wasn't much happening and all that nothing was dragged out through too many pages! Will still continue to the end of the series with hope the next one is better!! 😊

I read the first three books and found them engrossing and exciting. This book just didn't do it for me though. The characters were too cliché and as such don't feel as deep as the other characters in the first three novels. It felt like the characters were straight out of an "Old Dixie" cut and paste formula, that doesn't ring true with the modern South. Also, the two strong man-hating female protagonists felt like a "feminist's wet dream", and was believable only to those who are gullible and/or go to college at Berkley. I think I will stop reading the series at this point because I cannot stomach the idea the next book will be anything like this one.

These books are fantastic, but chapters keep cutting out halfway though, and skipping to the next chapter. Three times in this book so far and I'm not even finished yet. Infuriating!
