A story that spans centuries is hard to come by. A good pre-apocalyptic to post-apocalyptic storyline that hangs the fate of humanity in the balance is harder to come by. A fantastic read from beginning to end, blending elements of horror and elements of action/adventure into one breathtaking graphic novel of epic proportions.

An awesome read from start to finish . Would've loved a little more elaboration as things really started getting explained towards the end but all in all. It was pretty good.

Really good read. The modern day part is better than the futuristic part, but we'll worth a look, especially as it's non-Marvel

Scott Snyder is the bestselling and award-winning writer of Batman, American Vampire and Swamp Thing as well as the short story collection Voodoo Heart. He teaches writing at Sarah Lawrence College, NYU and Columbia University. He lives on Long Island with his wife, Jeanie, and his sons Jack and Emmett. He is a dedicated and un-ironic fan of Elvis Presley.
