Once you filter through the Alpha Male bravado this is a very interesting and game changing book on pitching that anyone involved in the influencing business should read - sales, marketing, advertising, public relations - the lot. It is based on what many great sales people know, which is not what you say, it is how you say it. And that means pitch to the heart (in actual fact the midbrain) and not the higher cortex of the brain. But more importantly it give you a practical way to do and practice this. And it is like a game - fun and playful. A great insight made practical. And a good read. Though a little too much "how good am I" for me personally. But that just may be a cultural misalignment.

I am a student entrepreneur participating in a business plan competition run by a local non-profit agency. I used the principles laid out by Oren Klaff in this book to make my finalist pitch as well as during a networking session of the program. While my presentation did not rank high, the networking session was highly fruitful. I convinced one person to make a small investment and two other leads. It came highly recommended from a fellow entrepreneur and I highly recommend it for everybody. It is a quick read and easy to grasp. Some of the ideas listed may seem naive or over-simplified but you will soon realize how a lot of us take these ideas for granted and ruin our pitches! Awesome book in all regards ! Kudos and Thanks for Oren Klaff!!

At first, almost discouraging if you thought you had a handle on Sales techniques before. Opening up a whole new paradigm that has always been there; writing the unspeakable, unmentionable undertones that dictate our every encounter. We need volumes more on this! Bravo.
