This was a good book. It was also the first one I read by the writer. He uses a lot of detail and I found this extremely useful and entertaining. I do think the book is for intellectuals only. One reason being is the sentence structure and the constant use of challenging and rare words. I found myself trying to recognize the words used, but it didn't hinder story progression.
The story is not long either. I find that the ending comes on kind of fast and seemed a bit rushed. It has a great deal of suspense, and the writer keeps your eyes on the pages.
