Philosophy of life and other essays

Author put forth his ideas neatly, and fairly straightforward. The authors english is not very eloquent or varied, which distracts and confuses in many cases. The ideas are not fledged out fully, and too many assumptions are made before unproven opinions are put forth. 3 stars for the sheer fact that this took courage and determination to publish; add one more work to the library of man.

This is a reflective work, summing up thoughts on a handful of topics. It is neither zealous or preachy. But I find the authors scope narrow. He assumes the existence of a deistic deity and assumes that a non-spiritual view of life leaves a man empty and broken whose left after his journey with bits of a broken pencil. I suggest the author widen the scope of his learning and to consider that 'the meaning of life is to give life meaning.' That there may be life in the universe; that there is no god.
