This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps the reader on the edge of their seat with lots of action, suspense, drama and romance. The author uses well written scenes and details to inspire vivid images that capture the imagination and the well orchestrated action is not only believable, it makes the reader feel as if they are part of the unfolding drama. The strong compelling characters are easily understood and draw the reader deeper into the story and spine tingling anticipation builds throughout the story as Issa and Muriah try to outrun and outmaneuver the Chaos. The author’s fantastic world and captivating characters is an exciting spin on the Mayan end of the world concept that keeps the readers thoroughly entertained throughout the series. I am sorry to that the series is ending, but what a way to go, this book is a magnificent ending to the series and a wonderful goodbye to the characters though really wish I didn’t have to say goodbye, maybe there could be another story one day about the immortal child…hmmm…

It was awesome. Unborn child is mortal or immortal. Rather Gretchen lives or dies. Apep god of chaos wins or loses. Issa finds love with Mariah.
