About this ebook

In the final novel in the Broken Empire Trilogy, the boy who would rule all may have finally met his match...

King Jorg Ancrath is twenty now—and king of seven nations. His goal—revenge against his father—has not yet been realized, and the demons that haunt him have only grown stronger. Yet no matter how tortured his path, he intends to take the next step in his upward climb.

Jorg would be emperor. It is a position not to be gained by the sword but rather by vote. And never in living memory has anyone secured a majority of the vote, leaving the Broken Empire long without a leader. Jorg plans to change that. He’s uncovered the lost technology of the land, and he won’t hesitate to use it.

But he soon finds an adversary standing in his way, a necromancer unlike any he has ever faced—a figure hated and feared even more than himself: the Dead King.

Oh man what an excellent trilogy!!! I never knew starting out how freaking great these books would be. I know the first book,( if your not used to this authors wring style)can be hard to understand at first, but once I understood his style I couldn't put it down. I honestly put this trilogy up there with some of the greats. I loved this as much as if not more cuz Mark Lawrence actually finished it, Patrick Rothfus, The king killer chronicles.

If you need trigger warnings, go read something nice. Jorg isn't nice. Jorg carries lots of rage. I understand very well how that feels. I got "Prince of Thrones" as an autographed copy in a contest and only regret my budget didn't allow for the second and third in hardcopy to hold and breathe. I used my Google Rewards credit to buy these, and I would say, if I had the cash, these are worth the tiny bit of shelf space I have left. Thank you Mark for a wonderful story with a beginning, middle, and end.

It's like reading the song of fire and ice except you just follow one or two good characters not dozens. Oh and Jorg would have won the game of thrones by the time he was 12. I'll definitely buy the next book.
