None of these are child story's. They are fake different versions. And it's so cringy when you read it, that the romance is gross. Don't read this. It's a terrible book. I am sorry, but this is my very true opinion. My opinion, I say again. This is my review and I just don't like this book very much.

I was enchanted by the tales and how different they were from ones told to me as a child. The way the stories were originally told conveyed the idea of good behavior was rewarded and did not spare the child consequences of bad behavior, and also the chance that bad things can happen to good people. Good lessons in life.

I'd never even heard of that story before, but reading it, I was put in mind of the greats- Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams. This book is wonderful, and a comforting read on a cold winter's night. Get your milk and cookies ready for a precious return to childhood innocence!
