When Christopher decides to find out who killed the neighbour's dog, his mystery story becomes more complicated than he could have ever predicted.

5 stars simply doesn't do justice to this amazing book...this really has to be one of the best books ever written, and I would defy anyone not to read it and have tears streaming down their face at the end...to be cheering for joy at the bravery and achievements of Christopher, yet knowing that his dreams of going to university and becoming a scientist will never happen...words can't describe the emotions I felt. It was an absolute joy and privilege to read this book...THANK YOU Mark Haddon!

Not sure if reading this gave me a glimpse of Aspergers syndrome or it was a glimpse of something in all of us. My head hurt after reading it virtually non stop ( couldn't put it down ) and Christopher made me feel exhausted.

i think that book is very interesting but i have one problem. the problem is that its full of liz and shiz. Emma Westgate does not live in America!! okay maybe she has asperger's syndrome but thats no right to get killed by her neighbour! you should write the truth! viva la revalution!

Mark Haddon is an author, illustrator and screenwriter who has written fifteen books for children and won two BAFTAs. His bestselling novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time won seventeen literary prizes, including the Whitbread Award. His poetry collection, The Talking Horse and the Sad Girl and the Village Under the Sea, was published by Picador in 2005, and his last novel, The Red House, was published by Jonathan Cape in 2012.
