About this ebook

Marc Headley started working for the Scientology organization in 1989. After leaving in 2005, Marc posted bits and pieces of what went on at the Scientology headquarters (known from inside as the International Base). Marc posted anonymously under the screen name of Blownforgood aka BFG. In September 2008 Marc was invited to speak to an international conference of European government representatives regarding the Scientology organization and their abuses. It was at this time that Marc revealed his identity as Blownforgood. By 2009, the internet posts Marc had written over the years had been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, but still there were people who questioned their validity. Stories of grown men being thrown into dirty lakes and pools as punishment? Physical abuse never reported to authorities? How could this happen in modern day America? Two years after Marc wrote about these things and posted them on the internet, a Pulitzer Prize winning U.S. newspaper printed accounts from former staff member who worked at the Int Base that matched and confirmed what Marc had written about. Not only that, Scientology officials admitted that these things had taken place! Find out what they did not talk about in Blown for Good.

Awesome book! Written from the point of view of an escape narrative, Headley first introduces us to his Scientologist parents who, when Marc was still quite young, moved he and their family out to LA to invest more time and money into Scientology. We get glimpses of what life is like for the average child of Scientologists and the people he meets along the way, for better and worse. Then we quickly get to his teenage years. His parents are now divorced and both are so wrapped up in their own adventures with the CoS, he finds himself with very limited options. One by one, even these very few options pan out and, at 15 years old, Marc Headley signs a Sea Org contract pledging his all to the CoS for the next billion years worth of lifetimes. Now, we begin to learn about CoS away from the classrooms and public Scientologists (parishioners). Marc goes through the Sea Org's shocking "boot camp" EPT (Estates Project Force) and then, after some months on staff in LA, is informed that he is going "over the rainbow". After a few days of "sec checks" (interrogations), it's onto working, living and breathing at the behest of CoS leader, David Miscavige, at the secluded, top secret Golden Era Productions and the International (Int) base. A memoir, a thriller and, most of all, a factual first hand account, BFG gives anyone willing to look front row seats to the inner mechanisms of Scientology, Inc. In charge of audio and visual at the base, we get the inside track on what really goes into all those Scientology propaganda films and the conditions those who create these dissemination materials exist under. If you've ANY interest in learning about this "religion" that has infiltrated the public school systems with Applied Scholastics & The Way to Happiness, the health field with the drug "re-hab" NarCONon, the business field with Hubbard's W.I.S.E. "technology", etc. Then "Blown For Good" is an absolute must-read!

I have never read such an amazing account of the disgusting abuse that scientology has inflicted, not only towards adult divotees but to innocent children who have no choice but to be raped, tortured, and beaten which their own parents have not only facilitated but actually encourage with the hopes to go to SPACE?¿?? My aunt lived nextdoor to one of their apartment buildings they owned and first hand witnessed a woman throw bags, and then jumped over herself.in attempt to flee from them into my AUNTS backyard(her backyard fence was their wall as well) and not even 5 mins later several men barged into her (my Aunt)backyard and snatched her up and drug her against her will to lords knows where and even after law enforcement was notified they didn't or didn't want to believe it and it was dropped¡!!!!!!!!!!!! I have lived in Hemet practically my whole life (since 1987) and in that time somehow they have taken over multiple properties going from a small section of Gilman hot springs to today where they own everything from Sanderson to State or if you're familiar with the area everything along Gilman Hot Springs!!!! San Jacinto and Hemet bus screwed if our law enforcement doesn't put a stop to these deplorable, horrendous, abusive, child rapist/ child/wife beaters. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME READ THIS BOOK OR TAKE A BIRDS EYE VIEW JUST GOOGLE SEARCH DRONE FOOTAGE ONLINE ----- "GOLD BASE DRONE FOOTAGE" Leah reminis 1st hand account is astounding!!! Read it too!!

It's ironic that an organization with a pathological hatred of psychiatry uses psychological torture on its own members. Marc is one of the lucky (and courageous) ones who got away. I feel so bad for the children who are forced into this horrendous organization at a young age with basically no choice in the matter. And people like Tom Cruise, who reap the benefits of what boils down to slave labor, are willfully ignorant fools. The story of his actual escape had me on the edge of my seat, and really grateful for the county sheriff deputies who helped to save his life.
