Should be 5 stars...Not sure why only a very small portion of Batman issue 13 was included, instead of entire issue. Also entire issues 14, 15 & 16 of the Batman books were omitted in this digital compilation (according to the inside jacket the hardcopy includes issues 13, 14, & 17, but still omits issues15 & 16} Many important plot points are excluded, makes for a less enjoyable, and rather confusing, ending.

It's dark, gruesome, harsh and filled with chaotic schemes and madness. The stories told in each part don't flow exactly but if it is in a story of the joker why would it. The inclusion of the Teen Titans and Redhoods friends was odd and took away from the Joker and Batmans 'dance' and I feel distracted from the main purpose. Though I know that the comics would have to connect, I feel this would be better as a stand alone only involving those in the Batfamily. Over all good.

Great art but story is all over the place. I'm guessing the lack of consistency is bc it's taken from so many comics but really, the batgirl and teen titan storylines basically stop.
