Influenced by franchises of Star Wars and Star Trek with the classic works of The Lord of the Rings and Romeo & Juliet brings Saga, an epic space opera/fantasy series. The story begins it depicts a husband and wife, Alana and Marko, from long-warring extraterrestrial races, fleeing authorities from both sides of a galactic war as they struggle to care for their daughter, Hazel.

Good story, it starts off by jumping straight into the fray, with some kick backs into what the "actual story" will be about. Didn't grasp me enough to check out the next book, I've read new mangas with better plots. I can see Star Wars fans would enjoy this series more than I would.
