Having enjoyed previous books in this series (both children and adults alike can find much entertainment in them), I was slightly disappointed with this 8th book. Where the other books offered readers something new and varied with nearly each page turn, this one does not. It has one central focus throughout the entire book. Half way through I wondered when that might change. A few shots at funny, but not so much. The first Wimpy book without a single laugh in it..

This series is way to lengthened out and the newer books are just getting worst and worst it is retarded. It's not even practical anymore... through eight books he is still in middle schools. Give your self a hand and stop writing more books in this series. RIDICULOUS!!!

Homestley i stopped after the blue book (yea i said blue book oh well) i mean its a good book but the rest are kinda pointless to me.all the kids who grew up reading them are grown up and it gets repetitive plus when they dont grow up and it seems bland to me.
