This is a Good read! I strongly disagree with some of the other reviews. The 1 star review from "a Google user" states very emphatically that they did not like this free book but then went on to say that they bought the rest of the books in this series. That does NOT make any sense to me. If they didn't like this book in the first place, then why would they purchase the whole series! I don't rely on other people's opinions about the likability of a book. If a book sounds good to me, I download and read it. To me, if I am going to download a book or not, the only opinion that matters is mine. (Sorry I didn't mean to go on this small rant... but it really irritates me to see someone's hard work belittled so unjustly with such ridiculous reasons). Anyway, I liked the story...and I believe that it was well worth downloading. I would recommend this book!

Before I took the time to write a review I read each book in the series. With that being said... They're horrible. All of them. The story is good, if not a little over done. All it is is the same plot over and over in a different time line. The descriptions of actions and ideals is regurgitated so much that you can guess half the dialog between the characters at any given time. This whole story could have been told with two, possibly three, 300 page books. Instead you're spending ~$5.00 a book for about 150 pages of text... and thats on my cell phone. Actually printed I doubt any of these books hit a decent amount of pages. This is certainly a novice author and it feels like none of these books ever saw the light of an editor. I doubt they were really even proofread. Several occasions found me rereading paragraphs because the wrong character name was used and it was confusing. The depth of character development was severely lacking as well and for those of you who've read the books, how can she never remember that her necklace is a "key". Overall, I wish I would have never spent the money on the series, it wasnt even a credit to the genre.

This book is terrible. The main character constantly forgets and re-remembers the same plot details all the while asking the same questions, it's very repetitive and boring. The romance with another character is ridiculous, they don't even know each other's names and met hours ago and then tell each other they are in love but it is forbidden, woe is them. Not worth the download, even if it is free.
