Forget the Keanu Reeves movie, these original comic books of the story of John Constantine are more than pretty cool. Love that ex-punk rocker-turned-supernatural-consultant/medium/exorcist! This 1st collected book wasn't my cuppa tea. I didn't start reading until the Glen Fabry/Garth Ennis days back in the '90s, but these collected works are awesome! They kept getting more fleshed out & fun to read! Keep going & you'd be rewarded with 1 hell of a ride! Keep the taps flowing!

Delano at his best developing Moore's ST character. Good read before he went into more bloated and less interesting issues. Read again and really enjoyed Ridgeway's style

Definitely old style 80's artwork. The slang and the text made for a very bohemian feel. But the stories were great.

Born in 1954, Jamie Delano has made a diverse, cross-genre contribution to the comic book medium, scripting over some 25 years both original works (World Without End, TAINTED, GHOSTDANCING, Hell Eternal, CRUEL AND UNUSUAL, Territory, OUTLAW NATION) and publisher-owned properties (Captain Britain, Dr Who, Night Raven, HELLBLAZER, ANIMAL MAN, BATMAN, Shadowman). He is currently practicing for retirement, living in semi-rural England with his partner, Sue. They have three adult children and four grandchildren.
