The Case for Christ: A Journalist's Personal Investigation of the Evidence for Jesus

This book laid out clearly the arguments being made for the historicity of Jesus, and the arguments for belief in the Christian religion. It was fundamental to my religious development, and I can honestly say that it was the catalyst for me to stop being a Christian. Very helpful for those with doubts or questions. It explains in detail the factors guiding the Nicene Council, and helps illuminate the facts around traditional Christian historians such as Josephus and Titus. It also offers some perspective on the various dialectics surrounding the theories of Christ's existence.

There's no way to read this with an open mind and walk away without coming to one of two conclusions: Jesus is exactly who He claims to be, or everything in the universe lined up just right, since the beginning of time, to allow the most intelligent person who ever lived to convince an immeasurable number of people for thousands of years that He is. You really have to not want to believe to accept the latter.

I was unsure of God for many years until 2007 I was electrocuted and died for a few brief moments only to meet the risen Jesus Christ! After returning I took my knowledge of electrical engineering and applied it to ministry. Today I teach kids that evolution is nothing but a blatant lie. And I thank Jesus every moment of every day for showing me the Truth.
