Narnia... where Talking Beasts walk... where a witch waits... where a new world is about to be born.

On a daring quest to save a life, two friends are hurled into another world, where an evil sorceress seeks to enslave them. But then the lion Aslan's song weaves itself into the fabric of a new land, a land that will be known as Narnia. And in Narnia, all things are possible.

The Magician’s Nephew is the first book in C.S. Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia, a series that has become part of the canon of classic literature, drawing readers of all ages into a magical land with unforgettable characters for over fifty years. This is a stand-alone novel, but if you would like to journey back to Narnia, read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the second book in The Chronicles of Narnia.

Marvelous and timeless telling of the Creation and fall in a fairytale way but not loosing sight of the biblical facts. The Narnia series are so biblical, especially the first two books and the last one, that televisionmakers and Hollywood hardly dared to take these books to film. Book two made it to the screen, but the first and the last (Apocalyps and Judgement) they will never dare to touch. Even as an adult I still enjoy reading these books, although they have gotten an even deeper meaning for me now than when I read them for the first time. A must read for "children of all ages". A masterpiece

My daughter just turned five, so I started reading the Narnia series for bed time. Was worried that the lack of pictures and broader vocabulary would bore her, but she lapped it up. I'm overjoyed to see my daughter exploring her imagination. And as an avid Aslan-worshipper myself, I got a real kick out of it too! ;)

This book changed my life. I was bought the box set of seven books for my seventh birthday and thought it was very grown up looking - then found myself in my sleeping bag with a torch, completely lost in another world and I was addicted.. forever. Also, in the modern, mad, techno obsessed world, it's good for kids to totally engage with a completely different world. They don't need their phones, their junk, their fashions and fads; the need to read.
