Ello

I left fb. So tired of all the politics, fake accounts, scam ads and ignorance. Ello is such a refreshing change. And no ads! The app is sometimes buggy. It doesn't want to upload photos from anything but Amazon photos can't even upload from phone files, but it works fine on laptop. Plus it wouldn't open at all on my friend's Samsung phone. Hope devs fix the bugs!

I've had issues with the app. I have a shotty internet connection at home and after watching a spinning ball for way too long while uploading two images I switched to cell data and recieved a bunch of errors about cennection being lost. I had to reboot my phone. Other then that the app works. There doesnt seem to be a lot of users using it though. I haven't interacted with anyone.

I wish the team gave us a bit more control of how we see our feeds. Other than that, this app and platform is by far one of my favorites. no random ass adds, no spying on me, only sees what I post and follow in order to shape things out for me. It might not be as popular as facebook, but its also no where near as shady. I definitly recommend this to anyone out there looking for something different and truly amazing!
