About this app

Phone to Chrome is an app that allows you to send links from your phone to Google Chrome on your desktop. You can click on links, select Phone to Chrome, and forward them to your desktop

Note: You need to download the Chrome Extension on your desktop from http://whatthedude.com/extension as well!

**WARNING:** This extension is currently only available for users who already have the Android app installed. The Android app has been temporarily taken down from the store while certain issues are fixed. If you've never used this extension before, please consider alternatives for now! Sorry!

Instructions for use:

- Download the Phone to Chrome extension on your desktop from http://whatthedude.com/extension
- Copy the ID from extension to settings page of this app
- Sacrifice a car to Satan (a golf cart might do if you negotiate)
- Click on a link and select Phone to Chrome as the application to open the link in OR open the link in your browser, click "share" and select Phone to Chrome
- Rejoice!

That's all you need to do to set the app up!

Features exclusive to Phone to Chrome Pro:

- Send links to your computer even if your computer is offline (allowing them to be queued to opened later)
- Send links to several computers using the app (the free version restricts you to pairing with one computer)

I love being able to easily send links from twitter on my phone to my desktop to read later, and this app doesn't require synching everything else. Right now I'm getting an incorrect error: "Computer is offline and failed to queue link; incorrect passphrase." But my computer is on, and this occured without me changing anything, as well as after resetting my passphrase in both places.

Hey! I'm not sure what's up. Could you screenshot the ID in the extension and in the Android app and send them to me? If changing your password didn't work, I'd recommend just reinstalling the extension (right click on it to remove it, then download it again from whatthedude.com/extension). My email is amaan.cheval@gmail.com if you need any help!

I never review apps but I love this one, I use it every day, even paid for the pro version. I'm a Linux user so paying for software isn't something I do. The only issue I have is when I've forgotten to add a computer to the list of where to send, after adding I have to copy and paste the link, thats the only time the address section doesn't auto fill and my only issue. Choosing which computer to send to is a pro version feature and why I paid for the app, I have like a 6 computers I use.

Amazing app . If you can add a feature that auto-clear the Link textbox when It's done sending the link , it will be great , so that we don't accidentally send the same link more than once and don't have to manually clear the textbox with delete to send another link

What's new

Fixed bug where shared links wouldn't autofill if the app wasn't closed properly previously.
