miSecureMessages is a secure, two-way instant smartphone and tablet messaging Android™ App that uses encryption to keep your messages private. Messages can be sent securely from device to device, and by using the secure cloud-based or on-site directory solution. When you receive a message from miSecureMessages, a Persistent Alert notifies you until you acknowledge the message. You can view the message, and quickly send a secure reply. miSecureMessages is perfect for healthcare and medical professionals to protect patient PHI, as well as industries that need secure instant messaging. New phone or device? Re-install the miSecureMessages app and Log In with your existing miSecureMessages credentials. If you don’t know what your login credentials are, contact your miSecureMessages System Administrator or Certified Provider. This may be your answering service or call center, or your main point of contact within your organization for miSecureMessages.

Issue based been occurring the past 2 months or so. Pages will be sent to my phone but no Audio notification, only a 2 pulse vibration. It worked fine the prior year and a half. I have an an android phone, the volume is at max, chimes is selected in the app and the phone was restarted this morning. All other apps/notifications still have audio notifications. On another occasion I had restarted in the evening, but then pages after midnight had the same issue with no audio.

Ridiculously buggy. Will stop giving me notifications randomly requiring me to restart it. Or only vibrate when I want it to ring. Requires you to log in every time even if you minimize it for a moment. Notifications never clear so I never know if I have a new message or not. Great one combined with the above bugs. Hope our hospital stops using it and get something better soon

Hi Jonathan, a few items you mention are done for security reasons(HIPAA)while others are configured by your admin. Your admin can check to make sure settings are configured correctly on your device and in the MSM app. If you email miSecureMessages@gmail.com, we can also help answer any questions you may have regarding the MSM application directly.

Alert not functioning well. Like other users the alert sound has spontaneously switched to a soft chime rather than pager that is set via the app. I only barely notice it when I am awake and sitting beside it but unlikely to wake up if a message comes in while I'm sleeping. I have messaged and am awaiting a response from customer support. Hopefully can be resolved as it looks like this problem has been ongoing with this app.

Sara, I'm sorry to hear about your audio issue. The easiest way to reset the notification channels is to uninstall/ reinstall. If you use Do not disturb, make sure you have the overrides turned on in your phones OS settings. Please contact me at support@misecuremessages.com to follow up with a resolution. Thanks.
