Great take on an amazing game. Controls are great. No lag, no major bugs, no reason not to download. My only gripe with it is the repetitive music (only because I play it so much). Both me and my nephew love this game to death. Now if only there were more levels to conquer... Even though Ads don't show up if you're not connected to wifi, I still advise that you get the premium version to support the developer.

I presume the praise here is from the fans of a game, probably Portal from the company, Valve. Those fans who still think with portals to this day, use this app to satisfy their love for fast teleportation. Unfortunately, I am yet to be indoctrinated into the portal life and so this review will be bias on the presumption that this is essentially a Two-Dimensional Portal game. This means a loss of sentimental values, and becomes comparative to Portal, which was financed by companies. To start off positive, this game is like the son of the game, Portal. It has all the blocks, lasers, and buttons that's in Portal and implemented well into a two-dimensional plane. But just like a son, it still needs to grow and does not have many features Portal has. I noticed they're using all the potential given the field, but it is just not able to hold up with it's lack of everything else. To summarize, this is no real time strategy game, this is a puzzle game with portals. This may sound ambiguous to those wondering how to make a game any better given the limitations. However, I don't think there is a way, because like I said, I can see this game really trying to impress me. If there would be more features that resemble that of the game, Portal, that can stand in its own way, that would be fantastic. However, I can only believe because the game on its own as of now is just average. The music gets antiquated quickly, boxes in immovable corners gets frustrating, and it feels like there is a lack of soul put into this. So to help this game, may I suggest a rewind or an undo feature, and an augmented selection of music? But to clarify, I have yet to play the game, Portal, so I can not tell you an exact experience based review for a proper comparison. And those fans seem to genuinely enjoy this game, so if this is what works for a two-dimensional Portal game, then so be it.
