While upgrading the app systematically deleted all my appointments in my phone diary. Now I am away for the weekend I do not know what appointments I have for the week until I return to the office to sync with my pc. I am not happy I'm also not happy about having to allow these apps permission to change things. Why do they need these intrusive permissions?

Did you manually uninstall BirdieSync app before or after the upgrade ? It yes, Android would automatically remove BirdieSync account where your events could be stored. For further analysis, please send a problem report with BirdieSync menu "Help/Report a problem..." on the PC. Permissions are requested to access contacts & events for sync. Thanks.

Difficult to keep all devices syncing. When one goes down, no notification to user. Configuration can be maddening with little help from app. Not user friendly unless Tech savey. Ended up switching to Google Calendar - bye bye Birdie.

It works as it should, set up was OK but some will struggle with it. Unfortunately this part is free, the pc part is free for a short time, but then it's going to cost you an annual subscription fee that is not cheap!!! OK to sync a new device but really not worth the fee for longterm use.
