Gets decent image quality. I could not get a USB connection to work on an Pixel with a USB-C to USB-3 cable until I enabled USB debugging, which is probably specified in the instructions. You also have to refresh the phone list even if the phone and client app are connected before starting the host app. Wi-Fi connection works great, but USB functionality is a must since I'm repurposing an old, unsupported phone and would rather keep it offline.

I did use the FREE app with the obvious limitations in resolution etc. Then after a week of constant use I decided to upgrade because nothing bad was happening. everything worked fine. the app stays connected and working for hours of livestreams. I upgraded to the paid version and now the cam freezes ALWAYS. and when I say ALWAYS I mean I need to detach the cable and re-attach it continously. so annoying and unexpected. and yes. I know how to manouver a pc.

Works great so far in Windows apps. The software, of course, requires a separate, free software download. The app is pretty basic but covers what I need. Includes White Balance, flip, rotate, "zoom", light on/off. Works great via LAN. I haven't tried USB mode yet. Everything functions well, but the desktop and Android software offer a mediocre User Experience. For example, the option to choose front or back camera is buried under "Settings -> Camera" when it should be a button on either the desktop interface or phone interface. Also, in OBS, I had to create an audio device and a video device separately.
