Needs location permission to work, and seems to not ask for it. Need to assign manually. Once working, it's handy for seeing the broadcast channels and strength of surrounding wifi access points. Which in turn helps for selecting your own wifi channels in crowded environments. Hasn't been updated in a while, but still a useful tool.

It appears that this app has been abandoned. In the past, I would check available WiFi signals often. After a long drought, I opened the app again a few minutes ago. Now, the app doesn't see any WiFi signals at all. I tried resetting the app, but nothing changed. Uninstalling.

My go-to Wi-Fi analyzer since I found it a couple years ago. I've passed it along to lots of people including my company's IT Network admin who used it to place our routers and find a lost one. ### TIPS ### If you're having trouble with it not working at all make sure all the permissions, especially location, are enabled. If you're having trouble with slow or intermittent scan intervals go to Settings > Apps > WiFi Analyzer > Force Stop. From there also go into Storage > Clear Cache
