I used AlarmDroid for many years but with Pie I cannot flip to dismiss while the phone is locked and that's a must have feature for me. PocketBell does a lot more than I need and that's okay. I don't need music or WiFi or Bluetooth. I do need a clean interface that's easy to configure. I think the preferences could be laid out a little better. Maybe I was spoiled with AlarmDroid but this doesn't seem as intuitive. Also, if I could get rid of the blue highlights or at least have the option to change them I'd be stoked. It's kind of a sickly blue. Aside from these small complaints it works pretty darn well.

Worked...then stopped. The app used to work well but doesn't with my Galaxy S10 (a recent upgrade from an S6). I set my alarm to a radio station; sometimes it streams, sometimess it doesn't. When it doesn't, even the backup alarm doesn't function. I set the time to infinite, but always turns off after 1 hour of radio streaming; sometimes after less than 30 minutes. I see that it hasn't been updated since May 2017, so maybe it's not as functional with newer model smartphones.

This app has worked well for me. The radio alarm has been reliable, and it had the station I wanted to use, which another app did not. Only criticisms: 1. I wish I could change the order of alarms on the phone so that my most-used alarms would appear at the top. 2. It would be nice if the app incorporated a dedicated radio mode -- if I want to stream the radio, I have to "test" the alarm. 3. Android Pie keeps notifying me that the app is using a lot of battery-- although my battery life is fine.
