This application is one of the applications commonly called a media scanner.
When you can not see or find your photos, media files(music, video), and other files on your device, you can solve the problem by using this application.
It has the following features.
* You can scan quickly all files(media file, document file and others) on your device.

When it was working as advertised, this app was great. However, the latest version of this app not only has full screen ads, but Google's scoped storage requirements for Android 11+ have ruined this app. If your app can't see the microSD card, it's because you're running a device that is on Android 11 or later, which requires "files and media only" permissions. On those OS versions, the app can't see external storage, even granted that permission. I had to downgrade to an earlier version.

Update: 09/28/19.... I did a factory data reset on my phone and now this media scanner is no longer available. I am sooooo disappointed! Love it! This app works great allowing you to see your music files and pictures after doing a reset of your phone and putting everything back together and you mysteriously cannot see any of your songs or pictures. By running this app, it re-associates everything and then you can see the songs in your playlist and the pictures in your gallery. I highly recommend this app!

Sad to see unless i misread, this wasnt working for a few users, but can glady say it worked for me (Droid Moto Z Play, Android 8) ! It did however mess with all my notification sounds, but a minor issue that can be easily fixed myself then the idiotic issue this was resloving that Android has had for AGES. Especially since all my methods of fixing it stopped working. Really easy to use until you may need to hit up the advanced options if it doesnt for you, which wasn't my case.
