Nice idea. But I assumed it was more of an inertial guidance program employing the phone accelerometers which could fill in for when GPS was unreliable. After running it its more of a pedometer compass thing for walking. Not so useful to me. Uninstalled.

Hi Jerry, thanks for your feedback! When Smartnavi was invented, we tried to use inertial navigation as it is super interesting. Unfortunately smartphone sensors are not reliable enough for inertial navigation. That's why Smartnavi works with a pedometer. ;)

i have it installed, i set the phone to developer and set the mock location data and now i have a little man icon at the top, so far so good. i then go in to google maps and it wont work unless gps is on so this app does nothing doesnt work after much playing with it

Amazing battery boost. It's a little shocking how much battery life is consumed by gps. And it works on all applications.
