1. Smart OTP service information
1) What is Smart OTP?
It is a new type of OTP that generates a one-time password by contacting a smart card with a built-in IC chip to an NFC-enabled smartphone and transmits it to the transaction terminal.

Individual banking customers (including individual business owners and individual voluntary organizations)
3) Smart OTP issuance information
Apply for smart OTP card issuance at KB Kookmin Bank branches
โป Issuance fee: 3,000 won (KB Star Club Gold/Royal/MVP customers exempt)
4) Smart OTP available terminal information
NFC support, mobile phone number storage USIM-equipped Android phone
After installing the app, it is possible to check the availability immediately (App Run>Menu>New Customer Guide)

5) How to use Smart OTP
* OTP password input procedure
โ Click the [Smart OTP input] button on the smart OTP input screen for Internet banking transfer, etc.
โก When the smart OTP input pop-up window appears in Internet banking, unlock the authentication phone's lock screen and contact the KB Smart One integrated authentication card.
โข Send OTP password by [confirming] Internet banking transaction details on the authentication phone
โฃ Click [OK] in the Internet Banking Smart OTP input pop-up window and enter the OTP password
6) Notice
To use Smart OTP, you need to activate the NFC function in the mobile phone NFC settings > Change NFC mode. It may be necessary to change the mode setting depending on the Android OS version and card type.

โป In accordance with Article 22-2 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (Consent to Access Rights), the necessary access rights to provide KB Star Banking services are provided as follows.
[Required access rights]
*Phone: Access to mobile phone status and device information, used to check the version in smart OTP, version information/update.
โป Required access rights are required for KB Smart One integrated authentication service, and service use is restricted if authority is denied.
[Optional access rights]
*Storage space: Access to device photos, media, and files, used when using a fingerprint certificate.
*Camera: Access to the photo taking function, used when logging in to take a QR code with KB or simple authentication in Internet banking.
โป You can use the KB Smart One integrated authentication service even if you do not agree to the optional access right, but there may be restrictions on the use of some necessary functions. It can be changed.
โป If you are using a smartphone with Android OS 6.0 or lower, all essential access rights can be applied without optional access rights. In this case, check if the operating system of the smartphone can be upgraded to Android 6.0 or higher, and then upgrade it.
