GETTING GLITCHY I used this app for years. Now I open it, and it's demanding I turn on notifications? For what? Ridiculous! Also, I can't stop the secondary timers (that I never set) from running. I changed my settings to shut off all timers, and it didn't do a thing. This response has nothing to do with the app's problems. Uninstalling and getting an app that works properly w/o unsolicited secondary timers, not to mention I don't need a timer that requires notifications to work.

You need notifications to see timers progress when the app is hidden.

I've been using this for a few years. Generally I like it, however I have found I have to be careful to make sure a timer doesn't randomly stop. So I'll typically keep the screen on and have it face up next to me at my desk. Another problem is I haven't found a way to delete timers. You can make as many timers as you want, but good luck deleting any when done with them. UPDATE: Thanks for the help.

To prevent system to kill the app you can try settings from https://dontkillmyapp.com/ To delete custom timer you need tap on three dots on the timer's cell.

Seems pretty easy to use I just got it I will probably pay and get the ad-free version. My favorite feature is the alarm tones are easy to select and I can select alarm tones that cannot possibly be mistaken for any other alarm or tone that is constantly going off for something else. Actually have a siren alarm set so when the time goes off and it's time to check the meat it sounds like a fire truck is in the kitchen there's no way I can miss it And that means I won't forget and burn the meat.
