Haven't seen such a bad news App anywhere, in terms of performance. I click the icon to open, and I can finish one cup of coffee before it actually opens. If I open by clicking a news link, it first opens the last displayed page, and then goes to the actual link. For a newspaper brand of The Hindu's stature, the technology build is such a shame! And I have a Paid subscription.

Content is great, but there are some flaws with the application 1. Podcast stops randomly when app is in background or screen is off. 2. There is no dark theme. 3. Sometimes articles and podcasts do not load even if there is a good internet connection. 4. Error occured are shown on the screen.

Great app overall. The quality of articles is top notch. The UI is great as well. One complaint I have is that the dark mode needs to be improved. The contrast in dark mode is not great and kinda forces me to use the app in light mode. That aside, it's a superb app.
