I was a long time user of the web site before I got a smart phone, so this was one of the first things I installed. It's been very handy, although I have often wanted an "add this peak right here what I'm sitting on" button, but if you make it too easy, the bump population will explode. It is most excellent as a search for the area and I especially love that the last search is cached because I don't always get everything downloaded before leaving signal land. It even keeps it through a reboot.

Love this app, but I can't add my ascents to certain peaks. They show on the app, but no option to bag it! Is there a way??

Hello, are these peaks in the UK perhaps? The app shows all peaks in The Database of British and Irish Hills as a convenience, but many of them are very minor and thus not in Peakbagger's database, which is why you can't currently add an ascent. You can turn off their display under "Filter nearby peaks", 2nd page to the right if you'd like.
