This app does a wonderful job of recreating the classic digital pets from the late 90's. It has basically the same features and interface as the Giga Pets, Digimon, and Tamagotchi and tries to emulate their distinct look with few colors, gigantic "pixels", and few buttons. You'll have to feed the pet, clean up after it, put it to sleep, wake it up, and train it. What I like about this app over the others in the Play store is that this one runs quite fast and isn't bogged down by a difficult-to-render or tricky UI. The training games are simple and quick, and being able to battle other pets is a major plus, though I haven't yet had the opportunity to do so. It isn't perfect, though. It crashes fairly regularly, and while I have yet to lose any progress, it sucks to have my phone go unresponsive for five or ten seconds before deciding to force-close the app. It does seem development has stopped on this app, so fixes aren't likely to be forthcoming. The training games are simple, but it isn't always obvious how to play them at first. While the built-in manual is pretty good, it is notably silent in this area. Overall, a very good app and well worth the tiny price tag.

This is a great app which looks and feels like an renovated version of the original Digimon pet. There are a few different games: training games and for fun games. It adds stat ratings to the monster so you can train for certain traits. The only problem is that the developer abandoned further development before the Colosseum and other features were added to the app. It's very disappointing and those features may have been the ones that would sell the app. As is, the only way you can battle other monsters is if you convince an IRL friend to install the app and train a monster to battle yours. I have never been so sad that I couldn't give an app 5 stars.

The app, features and concept are awesome. I was very excited to find this app initially. However, the creature requires too much care. If I go to work or uni for a couple of hours the creature gets hungry, sick, tired and needs to go potty. Which of course is the case at night. And getting awoken by a notification from this is not pleasant, especially when you clear the notification and it immediately repeats itself! The app and ideas are great..but it's not supposed to be a full time job.
