The OX Drive Android app is an extension to Open Xchange's OX App Suite/OX Cloud and requires an active OX App Suite account.

With this app you can access all your photos, files, documents and videos that are stored in OX Drive- at any time and from any Android device.

It has been made impossible to use for just on-demand use. There used to be a set of options for syncing, such as to sync only on app open, but those were inexplicably removed without warning in the last "look and feel" update. And even the Log out button is non-functional/simply does nothing. The only way to prevent background sync that I can find, is to uninstall. Update: Saw reply, great! Was all ready to give an updated review.. except, sync on app open still gone. Uninstalling again, argh.

Have you checked out the latest versions? We introduced a lot of new features recently and the log out has been completely overhauled some months ago already. We would love to hear your thoughts about the current version. Thanks!

I've never loved this app but I never hated it. I have email with namecheap and for awhile this app did the job. Suddenly it started giving me "unable to connect with port" errors and I have been unable to get new mail on my phone for several weeks. I can check email on the desktop but not the phone. So I finally uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now I'm getting the same error just trying to set up the account. NOTHING HAS CHANGED, why is this happening??

Nothing to complain. Easy setup, self-explanatory interface, broad set of features and constant updates. I especially like the option of automatic photo upload. This allows me to backup my gallery and save storage on my phone. Nice work!
