About this app

This is a real working radioactivity counter. The LITE version show only COUNTS and dont need calibration. The App is using the camera sensor to detect radiation. We tested several mobile phones at the Helmholtz research facility using a professional raditation device in the range of 2 µG/h till 1-10 µG/h. For the LITE version you can use our tables for a rough translation of counts/h to MikroSievert/h or MikroGray/h.

You can use the email button in the help menu to provide us with feedback and please use it.
The app can log counter values and the resulting statistic can be sent by email (Csv) or saved as csv or html file.

On our homepage you find a complete manual (for the FULL version) and more Infos.

Disclaimer: The type of radiation picked up by the camera can be dangerous/detrimental to the user's health as well as cause damage to the device.

This is really so good! Not with calibration. LITE! Good indicator to be used intuitively. Love it.

Does not work at all, the reported count is the same with background radiation only, and with gamma and beta sources nearby.
