About this app

Mobile Grid Client is a Second Life (SL) and Open Simulator (OpenSim) messaging client/viewer with local chat, IM, group chat, people search, mini map, the ability to teleport, inventory support and much more.
The unique client-server architecture of Mobile Grid Client keeps you connected to the grid all the time, even when your phone is in standby and keeps the traffic low.
Traditional Second Life viewers generate massive data and therefore have a big impact on your phone’s battery and data plan. Mobile Grid Client only uses a fraction of that and so doesn't rely on fast network connections or carrying your power adapter with you.
Visit our website for more information.

PLEASE NOTE:
The first 28 days of usage are free.
After then you have to PAY A MONTHLY FEE (starting at L$250) for usage. The fee is NOT recurring and Mobile Grid Client will always ask you before charging your account.

Mobile Grid Client is not an official Second Life viewer/client from Linden Lab and is not provided or supported by Linden Lab, the makers of Second Life.

It's decent hasn't been updated in awhile however and it shows unmuting is impossible from my experience and it requires a monthly fee of lindens. Best just to download slideme and lumiya tbh. Does the same stuff plus more. You can also see people's picks, groups, and images and best of all doesn't require a monthly payment. It also can semi play sl. All of which this subscription based app doesn't have. It also only cost 4$ lol. The app probably shouldn't of bugged me for a review.

It is useful for chat and keeping up with groups, but it is exactly and only as described. There is only notecard editing and inventory movement, you cannot even view textures. You have no idea what is attached at the time. You can see the map image and where people are on it, but cannot do anything other than teleport beside them. One wonderful thing, the map shows parcel divider lines clearly, slightly more useful for visualising them than an actual client.

i used to play this on pc when i was a teen. i think this is a direct rip of that old metaverse client from 2010. and they HAVE done it better, its simply not for sale anymore, its defunct, it is 3d, its called lumiya, you can find it in apk form if you use unknown sources quite easily, the reason its discontinued is because they introduced directx on the pc version, and mesh rigging (flexible animation) not compatible with old phones, you can still get it, and use it, but people will look wonky t posed, some might load properly, better than this. gonna have to use google, or perhaps apkpure, they have an app and have alot of now defunct free apps still available, and defunct paid ones as well.
