Edit: It works on my new phone - and no, the developer's link didn't help. Picked up a star, because it actually works now, but the keyboard needs an option to only suggest one word at a time. I swype type, and it's a nuisance to have to delete all the two-word nonsense combinations it "learns." Really slows me (it suggested "slow skewness" here, for some reason) down. / Old: It works fine, but it doesn't save any new words. Every time it closes, everything is reset. This makes it useless.

Developer lies a lot. It does not learn how you type. It actually gets worse the more you use it. Spelling errors become baked into its programming and often throws misspelled words out even if you typed it correctly. It constantly changes words you already typed to something else. Always changes to the WRONG preposition/conjunction and contractions. (in always changes to on, but always changes to bat, forms of you're/you/your are always auto corrected to the incorrect usage etc). TERRIBLE app.

Update in regards to the insulting suggestions below. Of course, I am using the latest version. I got a new phone, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. I updated everything once it transferred from my old phone. Further, I'm commenting on the app that would clearly say, update available! The app is now garbage! I have used this keyboard for years, but the latest format is horrible. I had to switch apps because they cover your typing content, creating time-consuming backtracking.

Hi Dawn, we apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced with SwiftKey. To address this issue: Make sure you’re using the latest version of SwiftKey. If you use multiple languages, try sticking to one language and disable the Flow feature. Clear the app cache. If the problem persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the SwiftKey app.
